GTU is Lemu Group's automatic glueless rewinder. It can be installed in-line with any label printing machine. Job changes are made in a matter of minutes.
Depending on the configuration, it performs fully automatic label rewinding, with cardboard core insertion, glueless reel startup, automatic cross cutting at the end of reels, reel closure with label (printed in real time with variable data), automatic reel extraction, robotic reel insertion into cardboard box, with palletizing and box labeling.
The GTU rewinder can also be inserted in-line into Lemu converting machine, with flexo in-register printing, die-cutting and waste die removal. The converting line can also integrate 100% product inspection, so that only defective reels can later be fed into the inspection table, while QC products can be automatically boxed.
GTU has remote diagnostic system with webcam.
